Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid CA license must be in hand Certifications: LA fire card within the last 30 days Must-Have: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting Job Description: - The candidate will work night shifts in the emergency room environment. - Orientation requires completion of 40 hours, which is non-billable. - The position requires a commitment to work 3 out of 5 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. - All travelers must be willing to float between all facilities in the state. - Disclose any license/background hits upfront; no open license hits are approved. - Travelers' refusal to float may lead to termination. - Modules are required pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours, with time spent being self-reported. - Depending on the assignment, communication devices required for duties will be provided. Otherwise, reimbursement for work-related cell phone use is available. - Orientation hours are mandatory for new hires. - Modules completion is tracked via Workramp transcripts.
