    • Maintenance and configuration control of the Observatory Digital Mock Up
    • Maintenance of the TMT Mass, Center of Gravity, and Mass Moments of Inertia budgets, mechanical interfaces, and space-envelopes for the subsystems and the entire system
    • Develop the Observatory Geometric Architecture by:
      • Performing trade-off studies to determine the best system design to support observatory operations, including observing, maintenance and servicing.
      • Investigate clash/clearance issues within the master geometry model and enforce system wide interface control by reviewing drawings and CAD models against the interface requirements
      • Create 3D engineering models and some 2D engineering drawings, for interface control and fabrication, to support TMT partners and project office engineers
      • Maintain the Observatory Integrity of the Mechanical Interfaces by:
        • Create, update or modify mechanical interfaces drawings per subsystem request.
