Location: Yorba Linda, CA / Hybrid
Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical
Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible
for identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier IT executives and
senior-level professionals with leading organizations. You will
leverage your expertise in IT recruitment, talent acquisition
strategies, and networking to build strong relationships with both
clients and candidates.
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and vetting
talented candidates that meet our client expectations. Using the
information provided by the Account Manager the recruiter will be
responsible to provide a panel of candidates that meet the
technical, personal and financial guidelines for each assigned
role.
Responsibilities: T alent Sourcing & Acquisition: Identify and
attract top IT executives and senior-level professionals through
various sourcing methods, including networking, referrals,
headhunting, and online platforms.
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process,
from initial outreach and screening to offer negotiation and
onboarding support.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth interviews and evaluations
to ensure candidates meet both technical and business
requirements.
Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, salary
benchmarks, and competitive hiring strategies to advise clients and
optimize recruitment efforts.
Networking & Branding: Attend industry events, conferences, and
networking meetups to build a strong pipeline of IT professionals
and enhance employer branding .
Liaising with the sales team to determine recruitment needs.
Determining selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job
requirements for various positions.
Reporting: Tracking key acquisition/recruiting KPIs, such as
source-of-hire and time-to-fill.
Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry
trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the
field.
Learn and understand all of Ekman Associates Inc.'s service
offerings and internal technologies.
Provide Account Manager with qualified candidate for submittal to
client providing information needed to facilitate hiring decisions,
including salary recommendations.
Conduct all interactions with the utmost diplomacy and tact.
Maintain confidentiality and treat others with conscientious
respect.
Meet or exceed weekly goal expectations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT,
or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years professional experience in IT recruiting.
Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and
interview candidates.
Proven experience in executive or senior-level IT recruitment,
preferably in an agency or corporate setting.
In depth understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry
trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building
skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven
environment.
Proficiency in using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and
recruitment tools.
A strong work ethic and sense of commitment.
Past history of exceeding personal individual goals while working
in a team environment.
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the
ability to self-manage, prioritize initiatives and work well in a
team environment with competing demands and tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS office, including Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, presentation and customer service
skills.
Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract
suitable applicants.
E xperience in creating awareness of the company brand and
establishing professional relationships with candidates.
Proficiency in documenting processes in regards to continued
process improvement and efficiencies.
