As the Perioperative Clinical Educator, you will report directly to the Director of Surgical Services, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and initiatives. You will mentor and guide nursing staff within the perioperative unit, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes. The perioperative unit at this community medical center boasts a dynamic and fast-paced environment, equipped with 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms and handling over 500 surgeries monthly. The unit is staffed with a dedicated team of 50 full-time employees, including exceptional surgeons, skilled anesthesiologists, and highly trained surgical techs. As a Perioperative Clinical Educator, you will collaborate with these top-tier professionals, fostering an atmosphere of excellence and continuous improvement in patient care. As a Perioperative Clinical Educator, you will design and implement innovative educational programs, mentor nursing staff, and ensure clinical competencies and skills development to enhance patient care quality.
