Job Description:
A company is looking for a Hospital Price Transparency Analyst
to maintain and optimize automated processes related to the
Hospital Price Index tool.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the proprietary HPI rule engine for compliance with
regulations and code sets
Audit HPI results and collaborate with the development team to
resolve data issues
Create client-friendly HPI reports and support product
implementation to meet service level agreements
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Advanced understanding of government regulations impacting hospital
price transparency
Practical knowledge of healthcare provider business processes,
including clinical coding and billing
Minimum of 5 years of combined inpatient/outpatient coding and/or
billing experience
High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required
Active coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC is preferred
