Job Description:
A company is looking for a Special Projects Editor.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall scheduling, communication, and creative development
for direct-to-consumer projects and backlist publishing formats
Identify and contract new talent while collaborating on
go-to-market strategies and development meetings
Oversee production design, enforce deadlines, and manage creator
approvals on editorial production assets
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in comic book and graphic novel editing
or talent management
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting
deadlines and taking initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; expertise in
Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Strategic thinker with the ability to observe market trends to
inform creative decisions
